So what's the buzz around Venke lately?
We saw her really fresh and shiny for a few weeks ago, so to the international fans I give a news summary from this month, January 2009.
This year seems to have started very well, where Venke has reported that she is working hard to write, and even started some recording sessions,and love working with new material.
That's what I call epic news, because it means that a new CD is in great progress.
Hold your breath, because I can hardly wait!!
The big event we will see Venke in this spring is undoubtedly "Det store korslaget" (The great battle with the chorus).
A live show that in eight weeks from March to May, will air on Norwegian national channel TV2.
"Det store korslaget" has already gained great success in Sweden, Denmark and USA.
Seven Norwegian celebrities will form and direct choirs of people from their home town.
Venkes choir is now in place, after around 70 singers was trough two auditions eliminated down to 20.
The choir has already had its first rehearsal and Venke are thrilled to have met all the shining, capable, smiling and good people.
Venke has travelled much lately, to participate in the promotional shootings for the show.

Another epic event has taken place, where Venke has announced that she recently got married,
and will give birth to her child, this spring.
We are so excited and believe those moments must be the best in her life.
We wish Venke all the happiness in the world, and pray that everything goes well.
