Welcome to the second appointment with the "News Of The Week" commentary!

Let's read Venke's point of view about what happened recently.....

_Venke nominated in the VG Lista 50 år:

* I was nominated for one of the best songs in 50 years! I can´t believe it! That was a great compliment to me. I am proud and happy. The fact that we didn´t win doesn´t really matter. There were ALOT of good songs on that list! But mine was there to!! Yeah!!! :)

_Rosa Solidaritetsmarsj Oslo and Bergen:

* I have been ambassaduer for "kids with cancer" for some time now. That´s one of the reasons why I did the "vinterlyd" tour. And now, when women need me, I think it´s great to be able to attend! So I played 6 songs with the band outside on Aker Brygge while some of the women collected money for the cause. And everybody wore a pink bow on their clothes to show their support. - even the horses!! Ha,ha!

_Venke og frisør:

* I have, like many others, a favorite hairdresser. I and was lucky enough to be able tho "show her off" in the paper the other day. I´m glad. Because she is very nice and she does good things to my hair... :)

_Jan story about the Våler concert:

* What a great story!!! I read it and cried! I´m sooo glad for every meeting like that. We have to cherish memories like that. Like I sing in one of my new songs... : "this is one of these moments you´ve gotta hold on to"...:) Thank you, Jan!

_TVNorge and Ylvis moter veggen:

* I met the wall!!!! Ha,ha! That was so much fun! Cold, but great fun!! And those two guys are really great. Nice and funny. I had a good time. And also- WE WON!!!!!! Ha,ha!
